Last month, Ireland’s the High Kings graced Boston’s Colonial Theater for three shows during a premiering tour that ran from September to October and included stops in Philadelphia, Chicago, Orlando and Dallas.

Musical director, arranger and composer David Downes, of Celtic Woman fame is the mastermind behind the debuting High Kings.

The Irish vocal quartet features Finbarr Clancy (Co. Tipperary), son and nephew of the Clancy Brothers; Marin Furey (Co. Waterford), son of folk singer Finbar Furey; Darren Holden (Co. Kilkenny), who starred on Broadway in the Tony award-winning “Movin’ Out;” and Dubliner and “Riverdance’ veteran Brian Dunphy.

Thank you so much for posting this article.  We've been watching for it to show up in print and were delighted to find it here!  The Boston concert was amazing, and we were so proud to be a part of it.
