EXCUSE ME WHILE I VENT. I worked I swear the hardest I've ever worked to get into Honors English next year. The requirements were different and very tricky this year. We had to take a test instead of writing a paper, (which is a horrible idea) and I am a horrible test taker and a good paper-writer. We had to get an 85% on the test, and I got an 84%. I'm good enough to be in honors...that's where I should be. All my friends got in...I stayed up like all night studying. I.am.so.mad. Suffice it to say, I need a hug.  |

Aww thanks for the hug. GOOD NEWS. Because I was so close to getting in, I am being placed on a "provisional status", so if my work for first semester is honors level then my teacher will bump me up to honors for the second semester. Whew. |
