I don't remember seeing the show "Absolutely Irish" on our local PBS
but I know it's been on some of the stations.

It features 3 generations of Irish musicians, presented by Mick Moloney.
One of the artists is Robbie O'Connell, nephew of the Clancy Brothers, singing "Flower of Kilkenny".

Here are the 3 fiddlers in the show:

Here is one of the stars....an 85-year-old Irish dancer Jo McNamara:

They are asking us to "call your local PBS Station and ask for this Show".
So Forum Members, please call!

Isn't she precious?  Cheesy
She endorses my determination to "keep on dancing"!

We had 2 sisters in our Irish Club, both in their late 80's.
Both of them were always the first on the floor when the céilí dancing started.

One of them is now dancing with the angels, her sister is still carrying on the family tradition!

This is what the song "I hope you dance" is all about.

I've seen it on television with my parents since St. Patrick's Day this year because it's really fun.
