The High Kings will be appearing on the View on March 17th.
Accompanying them will be:

Mariread Nesbitt on fiddle
Ray Fean on drums

Now where have I heard those names before? Cheesy

Good grief, Lindsey.  Our own moderators don't even read the sidebar!

I can't believe I missed that.
Hey isn't there already a thread to point out my idiocy?

High Kings will be on PBS Channel 8 in Phoenix at 9PM March 16.
I hear it has already been on once and the CW Helix show has played a couple of times, I think they lost the ANJ CD however.

Jim

I just got notified by PBS taht the show is tonight. They HK will be here on July 27.

Máiréad looked gorgeous and was amazing! Good to see Ray too! I will agree with Maggie...too short! We needed MORE MAIREAD!  Grin

The guys were great!!!!!! I really enjoyed their performance and my Mom thought one of them was cute, LOL. I can't wait to watch the DVD on Saturday.

Put me in the perfect St. Paddy's Day mood. Smiley

I also just saw them on The View. That was an amazing preformance. I had never seen or heard them before and I agree with Maggie, it was not long enough. Mairead and Ray...always good to see them.

Just watched the View too, it was fabulous.  I know I'm not the only one that feels like I'm watching old friends on the tube!  I agree with Maggie, I wish it were much longer!

For those who couldn't watch live and/or forgot to set their VCR.....

I have placed 2 versions of The High Kings, with Mairead and Ray, from "The View" on my webpage.
Higher quality - 6Mb and lower quality - 2Mb Windows Media files.  The sound on both is pretty good.
Best if you right-click and "save as" to your computer and then play them.

Enjoy!   Grin

They were very good. Of course though its hard to look bad with Mairead on your team.

I knew they were going to The Beggarman, and The Beggarman Jig, once I seen that Mairead and Ray would be with them.

Mairead just can NOT stand still can she.....and I wouldn't want her too!...

Still wonder if THAT portion was live or not..
