Zoya DeNure, Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race veteran, is going to Ireland for about a month's stay this summer (2012).
I find this intriguing and relavent to Celtic Culture because:
1. Zoya's stated purpose is to immerse in the culture for her and her daughter's benefit while being a significant help to their Irish host.
2. The method of Zoya's stay is unusual and powerfully supports item 1.
3. Zoya is a prolific blogger and a good writer!
4. Zoya has set up a blog (seperate from her and her husband's Crazy Dog Mushing Kennels Journal) just for this experience.
