Title: Enya's Silent Night Pronunciation?
Post by: Tiffany Gray on December 19, 2015, 12:40PM
I actually have most of the first verse learned, but how do you pronounce this one line?

"Naion beag, leanbh ceansa 'gus caomh."

I looked it up in a couple of pronunciation guides and neither one of them helped.

Thanks.

I`ll ask my 87 year old neighbor, who was born in Dublin, when she gets home next week. She has been in Ireland over Christmas visiting her family. I know she speaks and understands " Irish"....as they call it....NEVER Gaelic  ::)
