I can't imagine them singing anything country.
The song Summer Fly on Hayley's album:Celtic Treasure sounds like a country song to me. Then again, she could not make a song sound bad if she tried.

The song Summer Fly on Hayley's album:Celtic Treasure sounds like a country song to me. I'm so glad someone else finally mentioned that. It almost sounds like something Alison Krauss would record. It has a bit of a bluegrass-y feel to it.

Gee there's quite a long list of songs they should never sing, but it's funny to imagine them singing...
Cotton-Eyed Joe Shoes (lol that's not even singing) Yeah! Smack That Baby One More Time (or anything by Britney for that matter) Filthy/Gorgeous London Bridge Girlfriend (although I LOVE Avril!) La La So Yesterday (or anything by Hillary Duff) Stayin' Alive Hollaback Girl Wannabe (though I like the Spice Girls- they're hot!) Another Brick In The Wall Cupid's Chokehold White & Nerdy
And that's only to name a few. But I have often fantasized about them doing ATTSS...

Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys/Cowgirls - Willie Nelson
All My Exes Live in Texas - George Straight
You have NO idea how much this made me laugh... I can see it now...Celtic Woman gone country....(I might have to hide under my piano and never come out)....

"Good King Kong Looked Out" from P.D.Q. Bach's "A Consort of Choral Christmas Carols"
Good King Kong looked out on his feet And he saw that they were large. “Ho, ho,” he said, “we go,” he said, “To make some tracks in the snow, Forsooth our feet are very large.” Squinch, squinch, squinch.
Good King Kong looked out on his nose And he saw that it was flat. “Oh, no,” he said, “when we blow,” he said, “The pitch must not be too low, The royal nose must not be flat.” Honk, honk, honk.
Good King Kong looked out on his ears And his ears he could not see. “Oh, dear,” he said, “it’s clear,” he said, “We must see if we can hear, Because our ears we cannot see.” Hear, hear, hear.
Good King Kong looked up in the sky And he saw St. Nick’s red sleigh; “Ho, ho,” he said, “whadd’ya know,” he said, “Will you look at that old guy go,” he said, “Uh, oh, whoa, past us please do not go. “Yell yells,” he said, “Ring the bells,” he said, “Though a couple don’t work very well, Let’s welcome St. Nick and his sleigh.” Ding, dong, clunk.

Glad you liked my suggestions Ou est? I agree with most, anything by Michael Jackson would not do...can you see them in a line singing....
"ABC.....simple as l,2,3......" (early Jackson Five song)
Speaking of country though, how about NOT singing "I'm a Little Bit Country, I'm a Little Bit Rock N Roll" by those icons of the past...Donny and Marie?

For some reason, "Elvira" by the Oak Ridge Boys came to mind for me. I just cannot picture them singing the "Giddy up, aum bapa, aum bapa, mau, mau" part.
