Can we just skip August and pretend it's September already?

Can't tell I'm ready to see everyone again and hear some great music can you?

Zee, keep your phone handy that weekend.  You may be getting calls on the sisterhood hotline.   Grin

AWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

Thank you, Maggie for those lovely sentiments. I so wish the timing had worked out better for me. But, do not despair, I have a feeling that the Sisterhood that will be there will rise to the occasion. LOL Besides, you know it is just a matter of time before we will all be together again for a Sisterhood reunion and a rousing good time!!

Rich - my cell phone will be handy!

Kathleen  - you can call collect anytime as long as it is between 9:02 p.m and 5:59 a.m. on weeknights and after midnight Friday through Sunday!! LOL   Wink Grin

Bob - give in and go...you know you want to!

Oh how I wish I could be there with you all! It sounds as though this will be a BLAST in Orlando.

I will be in Houston for the show there. I will be driving 5 hours to get there, but I would not trade it for the world!

Please give us reviews and share the meeting at Raglan Road!!! T

Timi, Raglan Road Orlando is brilliant - Paul Nolan is from Dublin, with typical Dublin wit (but don't tell him I said so!)
The house musicians are from Ireland, and there is an Irish dancer ex-Riverdance and LOTD.

I have a British friend in Katy TX, near Houston...we exchange Irish music CDs....she wants to go to that concert too.

The family and I will make it to Orlando sometime in the next two years so I will definitely be headed to Raglan Road. I will let you know well ahead of time when we do finally get to make those arrangements. Right now I am working on a "handshake deal" my hubby made me....but I will explain that somewhere else as I don't think this is the thread to do it in...just have to find the right spot....LOL

Timi ya will love Orlando and so will the youngins, there is so much to see there...if you have time ya need to drive over to Crystal River or Homasassa Springs and take the youngins on some of the river rides. Nature abound and critters every where.

I can't wait for the Dallas Concert Ya'll so pumped here.

Crystal River and Homosassa Springs are about 90 miles Northwest of the theater.

We have some great parks and springs closer to home too, around Orlando.

In fact, within five miles of the theater, there is a treasure we don't tell the tourists about, and you would never know it was there...
..so sshhhhh, don't tell anyone!

It is Bill Frederick Park, known locally as Turkey Lake Park.
It has a well-stocked lake for fishing, a pool, picnic areas, pavillions, BBQ pits, sports areas..
...there is camping and 36 RV hook-up sites, also cabins to rent for up to 10 people for $35 total per night.

http://www.cityoforlando.net/fpr/net/t_ParkRec.aspx?Park=336

Even in the middle of downtown Orlando, there is Lake Eola Park, where you can do this:

You can also have Christmas all year round in the little town of CHRISTMAS, about 25 miles East of Orlando.
There is a permanent Christmas tree, Fort Christmas Historical Park, and a Post Office which is a
great place to mail your Christmas cards, they will be marked with a special stamp.

Just realized I need to put a reminder here......as most of you know, in the case of a Federally declared Disaster,
I could be gone with only a few hours notice. September is a popular month for Hurricanes.
In that case Dave would be in Orlando holding a spare ticket.....mine!  Cry

I'm sure he would have no problem disposing of it.....

Problem is he's not a very good "hostess" so you'll have to take care of yourselves!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

(I hope he doesn't see that "hostess" comment)

Laughin here Maggie!!

Will keep prayers going for safe September; no Federal Disasters; and no hurricanes! My mom lives in Myrtle Beach so I can relate to the hurricanes - although not on a personal, direct involvement....just as a family member.

Hope you all have a wonderful time together!!!

Hugs, T
