I really like "Will Ye Go Lassie, Go" because the song talks about the heather of Ireland.  Irish heather is gorgeous!

That's a Scottish song, lyrics composed as a poem by Scottish poet Robert Tannahill (1774-1810) of Paisley.
The poem is called The Braes of Balquidder, which was printed in 1742.

Scottish Heather is about the same as Irish heather.....both just as gorgeous.

The word "Lassie" is commonly used in Scotland, but not so much in Ireland.

Brian you gents richly deserved those standing O's! I was in the front row in Duluth with other forum members and had a great time. You are the perfect way to start off the show. Nobody is going to be sitting on their hands with you warming up the crowd. The days of dead audiences are over unless you're playing at a morgue! I had my doubts prior to seeing you but now after Duluth and Toledo I'm a believer. Hope you'll come to Colorado or New Mexico when you are on tour.
