This is an awesome move for them, but I can't go to any of these concerts, I'm stil totally bummed that they didn't open for CW at the St. Patrick's Day concert, right after the Radio City shows. *sigh* oh well maybe I'll get to see them in the fall.

Was the rest of the concert cut short or extended?

Thanks,

It's called a flask <g>

It's a flask if it's whiskey you're drinking.......

But "Wild Rover" mentions an ale house, and even though the landlady tells him she has "whiskey and wine of the best", I get the feeling this guy is fond of Guinness or porter.

As THKs were about to leave WMFE Studios, I said to them "Have ye time for a jar?"

Which means I invited them to a beer.

It was already almost 11pm, and they had a jar or two the previous night.

The reason for "jar" is..... at one time drinking glasses were scarce so glass jars were washed out and used for beer.
Of course you can also drink whiskey from a jar, but you couldn't drink Beer from a flask, it's too frothy.
