Yep, you read right!  The High Kings after a few years have decided to return to the U.S in August!  So far, they have five dates confirmed, but they will be adding more as the weeks go by.  You can take a look at them on their main website here.  Click on "tour dates" and scroll to the very bottom.

Note to the mods: I had no idea where to post this, so feel free to move this wherever you think is appropriate.

I have my tickets on order for the Cleveland show on August 16th.

The best part, Darla and I get to enjoy the lads again for only $10 per ticket.

See you at the show.

Sweet!!  They'll be in Chicago at the IAHC and the tickets will only be $15.  If I can figure out how best to get to the IAHC I may try to go to this.  I've been wanting to visit the IAHC anyway.

Darla and I will be heading out of the door shortly to travel and go see "The High Kings" show tonight in Cleveland.

We are so looking forward to this as it's been nearly two years since we last seen the lads perform in Pittsburgh.

Darla and I saw the lads Monday night in Cleveland and they put on a wondeful show.  They played most of the songs off of their new album "Memory Lane" and we are really hoping that they come back to the states again next year.

"Memory Lane" has the following song list:

Step it out Mary
As I roved out
The fields of Athenry
On the one road
Raglan Road
Whiskey in the jar
Leaving of Liverpool
Red is the rose
Star of the county down
Boolavogue
Cavan girl
The rising of the moon
Green fields of France
The Irish rover

Please go buy this CD on amazon, it's terrific,

Tom
