I LOVE this song. Does anyone know if it can be downloaded from anywhere? I can't find it anywhere!

Bookie, I couldn't find anything either, so I wrote to the boys and asked them.  I'll let you know.

The HK offices are closed until January 5, so there's no word yet officially.  But John suggested you check these links:  http://www.emusic.com/album/The-Very-Best-Of-The-Irish-Tenors-1999-2002-MP3-Download/10881430.html (http://www.emusic.com/album/The-Very-Best-Of-The-Irish-Tenors-1999-2002-MP3-Download/10881430.html) and http://www.mikeknaufmusic.com/nippersinkrogues.html (http://www.mikeknaufmusic.com/nippersinkrogues.html).

I know this was a while ago, and I should have seen this before.
This was one of my Dad's favourites.....I've heard him sing it many times.
It is an old traditional tune, both as a song and instrumental. It shows up at many family sessions.

It is usually known as "Phil the fluter's ball" without the superfluous 'h'.

For musicians, it is on www.thesession.org in many forms, showing the piano music, chords etc.

I don't know if this link will work but you can search it on the website, then go to "tunes" and "search":

http://www.thesession.org/tunes/index/search?name=Phil+the+Fluter%27s+ball&type_id=&mode_id=

You can download it by the late great Ronnie Drew of the Dubliners here:

i don't think they recorded it in a song format... i think it's only on the dvd :( which makes me sad because it is so hilarious and adorable. but then watching it is half the fun anyway...
