Title: Account Responsibility Post by: aislin on January 18, 2011, 05:01PM Several times in the past few months we’ve had the issue of who is ultimately responsible for a member’s account come up. At the end of the day you are responsible for your own account and anything done with it. What this means is that if someone else logs onto the forum as you, either because they have your password or because you left yourself logged in on a shared computer, and does something that violates the forum’s rules we will take action against the member account, regardless of who was doing the typing. In an online community that is just about the only way we really have to make sure the rules are followed by everyone. So please, if you are on a shared computer, remember to log out and don’t share your password with anyone.
